Our Story

Song.  Friendship. Performance.

Those three elements drive the members of Infusion Quartet.  They love to sing, enjoy the bonds of Barbershop, and love sharing it with others.

Infusion Quartet was formed in 2012.  Made of of Members of the Cincinnati Sound Chorus and Gem City Chorus.  Both Choruses are part of Sweet Adelines International Region 4.  The ladies of Infusion Quartet love to sing, and enjoy the challenges of four part Barber Shop harmony. Join us on our journey to Region 4 Contest as we compete for the very first time.

Competing in the Region 4 Contest with CSC and winning a 3rd Place Medal and then in the World Choir Games winning a silver medal was a great experience.     Ruth “Oochie” Crowley,  Bass Oochie has always been a fan of barbershop music since her dad Jack Crowley belonged to the original men's Cincinnati Chapter - now the Delta Kings. She became a member of the 7 Hills Chorus in 1976 and enjoyed many years of top level competitions & performances.  She dabbled just a little in a couple of quartets and even competed one year.  After stepping out of the chorus for some years, she re-joined in 2008 after the 7 Hills and Queen City Choruses merged.  Coincidentally, they were heading to Hawaii that fall to compete internationally. She is also active in and supports various community theater groups in the Cincinnati area and plays softball in the summers. Oochie and the love of her life Sean have been married just under 2 years but have been together for over 15 years.
